Bathroom rugs

Bathroom rugs are also known as bath mats. Typically they have a sticky surface on the bottom side to keep them from sliding on a wet bathroom floor. However, some bathroom rugs have the texture of a bath towel on both sides.

Bathroom rugs are typically placed by the shower or tub so that one can dry off without getting the floor wet after bathing. However, if the bathroom is large enough a matching bathroom rug can be placed around the toilet. These bathroom rugs are typically cut so that they hug the toilet's base.

When purchasing bathroom rugs homeowners should consider the decor of the entire bathroom. A bathroom rug can contrast with other colors to set itself off or match other colors to blend in. Bathroom rugs sell for as little as 20 dollars, but can cost as much as 50 dollars or more.
